October 10, 2009 started out cloudy and a little wet and cool, but it soon brightened up into
a beautiful day for our wedding. The fall colors in New England were at their peak, and all the preparations went as smooth
as silk.
Madeline and Pete were there early and worked hard all day to make
sure everything was set up as planned, and expertly ran the whole operation. We are so thankful for them. We kept telling
them to sit down and relax, but they were always doing something.
Bawb
Filiau took hundreds of great pictures, as you'll see all over this website, and controlled the music like a pro. It got
a little tiring for us, but he made it fun.
Donna Buja made the ceremony a
beautiful life changing event. Her thoughtfulness and insight into the true meaning of love brought tears to some eyes, and
she kept her cool even when someone fell off their chair.
The food by Pete
Campbell far surpassed everybody's expectations... it was fantastic! The prime rib was the best I ever had, and
all the fixings were truly gourmet.
Everyone had a great time, and I don't
think anyone was bored for one second. Frank & Joanne and Scott & Stacy were so gracious to have it in their backyard,
we can never thank them enough for their hospitality.
